Jihad Yaacoub

CHIEF IN-COUNCIL

Jihad Yaacoub  is a certified member of the John C. Maxwell team. He is also recognized as a certified John C. Maxwell coach, teacher, trainer and speaker. Moreover, Jihad holds a Master of Arts in International Affairs an Diplomacy from Notre Dame University. From 2006 to 2014, Mr. Yaacoub was Director of Student Affairs at Saint Joseph School, Cornet Chehwan. He later went on to be Lebanon's Educational Adviser for EducationUSA-Department of State Network from 2014 to 2016, where he guided students of different higher education levels in applying to and receiving scholarships from universities in the US. He has trained with the Department of State and at different American and Lebanese Universities, and directed and nominated students for foreign exchange and leadership summits in the US and Europe
Some of Mr. Yaacoub's proudest achievements in leadership training:
Guided students to apply to top US universities while maintaining a 100% placement. 
Managed and provided Leadership and Life Skills training  for corporations and students
Trained MUN Middle and Secondary School students who won the Best Delegation School Award at Harvard World MUN, Georgetown University MUN, and, for nine consecutive years, LAU Model United Nations.
Received the Best Informed Adviser of Model United Nations Award in MUN conferences in the US, Europe, and Lebanon
Directed 10 recipients of the Best Delegate Award in the UNA USA Global Classrooms Conferences in New York..
Mr. Yaacoub believes in the prominent and premium mission of education and youth empowerment, and that providing youth with equal opportunities reveals unequal talents.

Nathalie Khattar

ACADEMIC COUNSELOR - The Council USA

Nathalie Khattar holds two Master of Art Degrees from both Lebanese and American institutions; a Masters in Education and School Counseling from Marymount University, Virginia, USA (2004), a Maitrise in Industrial Psychology, and a Bachelor of Art in Psychology from the Holy Spirit University, Kaslik, Lebanon. She has traveled to and lived in Lebanon, Canada, and various European countries, eventually settling in the U.S. near the Capitol, where she has resided for the past 23 years. As a former international student, Nathalie enjoys working in this diverse metropolitan area, where she has been School Counselor in the Loudoun County Public School System for the past 14 years, guiding students, academically building resumes, relationships, and futures.
A resourceful professional with proven leadership capabilities, Mrs. Khattar is experienced in educational environments, skilled in teaching, academic advising and resume building. She is an expert in the college admission process and all that it entails, graduating numerous high school seniors and sending them off to many prestigious American colleges.

Takla Rahbani

Trainer in-counciL

Takla Rahbani is currently pursuing her BA in Translation, with an emphasis in Translation into French, at the Lebanese American University in Beirut along with a minor in Arabic Literature. She is also studying Spanish at the Cervantes Institute in Kaslik and Chinese at the Confucius Institute at Saint-Joseph University (USJ). Takla has served as a trainer at GC LAU MUN, Lebanon after taking part in the program as both a delegate and a school advisor in previous years.
