LIFE SKILLS SESSIONS

Join us for 24 hours worth of classes designed to accelerate your leadership training in just 8 sessions. The Life Skills Sessions help students reach their ultimate potential.

LEVEL 1: BASIC LIFE SKILLS

No pre-requisites

  1. Conflict resolution

  2. Leadership: Level 1

  3. Public speaking (theory)

  4. Public speaking (practical)

  5. Team building

  6. Negotiation skills

  7. The seven habits of highly effective people

  8. Research skills and role-playing

LEVEL 2: ADVANCED LIFE SKILLS

Pre-requisite: Level 1 - Basic Life Skills or equivalent

  1. Communication skills

  2. Leadership: Level 2

  3. Time management

  4. Debate skills

  5. Advanced public speaking

  6. Creative problem-solving and decision-making

  7. Emotional intelligence

  8. Teamwork

LEVEL 3: ADVANCED LEADERSHIP

Pre-requisite: Level 2 - Advanced Life Skills

The sessions offers an in depth understanding of the road to leadership. Following the laws and guidance provided in this training, one will be able to unleash the leader within. The training consists of 30 hours of extensive leadership practice. 

Certificate: Upon the completion of the Advanced Leadership sessions, students will be offered a certificate of completion. Moreover, they will be granted the opportunity to be nominated to travel to Orlando Florida and attend the John Maxwell International Certification Program. 

 

HARVARD MODEL UNITED NATIONS (HMUN)

From prior experience in training strong candidates, The Council Leadership Academy prepares delegates to compete and shine at the most highly competitive Model United Nations (MUN) conferences, the likes of the prestigious Harvard MUN, Colombia MUN, University of Pennsylvania MUN, Georgetown MUN, Harvard Model Congress Dubai, and others. 

Training comprises of 10+ sessions, and not only does it covers all the requirements for a successful involvement in the HMUN Conferences, but it also gives students the foundation for a successful career in diplomacy. 
 

LOUDOUN COUNTY INTERNATIONAL LEADERSHIP SUMMIT

A holistic experience that includes leadership training and cultural activities in Washington D.C. During the course of the exchange, participants have the chance to experience life as American students do.

The summit provides a forum for delegates to witness first-hand testimonies from guest speakers, discuss current global issues, and develop and implement action plans in their home countries based on their dialogue and experience.

Students enjoy a home-stay experience with local families and visit key landmarks and institutions in Washington, D.C.: two activities that provide summit participants with the opportunity to further explore their roles as global citizens

Empowering students applying and getting accepted to college. A holistic approach in helping students navigate the college application process. We help students with identifying their areas of study, majors and college offerings, essays and tests, costs, scholarships, financial aid opportunities, and much more. 

PROFESSIONAL SOFT SKILLS AND LEADERSHIP WORKSHOPS

Five intense sessions that will accelerate your leadership growth and develop your ability to lead a team effectively.

We offer this course to university students, employees, managers, c-level executives, shareholders, and more. The course takes place at our Headquarters in Ain Aar, and consists of 5 sessions, 4 hours each.

HARVARD NATIONAL MUN

The Council Leadership Academy prepares delegates to compete and shine at the highly competitive Harvard National MUN for university students.

The training comprises of 10+ rigorous sessions, that cover all the requirements for a successful involvement in MUN Conferences, and gives students the foundation for a successful career in diplomacy. The students will travel for the conference in February and will be accompanied by The Council Leadership Academy.

HARVARD MODEL CONGRESS

Harvard Model Congress Dubai, which takes place at the Canadian University, is a government simulation run entirely by Harvard students dedicated to international relations, teaching and politics. It is the premier international government simulation for high school students in the Middle East. HMC offers students the unique opportunity to assume the role of real-life senators, congressmen, and international delegations as they engage in debate throughout the course of the three-day conference. In creating an informed, intimate, and lively forum for debate, HMC Dubai spreads a contagious enthusiasm for each topic.

The Council Leadership Academy provides students with the opportunity to take part in the program and receive training by our specialized staff regarding the rules of procedure of the conference and other relevant skills such as public speaking, negotiations, and research so that participating students leave an impression on their committees and hopefully harvest awards.

GEORGETOWN MUN QATAR

Georgetown University in Qatar's annual Model United Nations (MUN) conference is a forum for engaged high school students to debate current global issues and gain insight into the world of international politics and policy-making. Every year, more than 500 students compete to find the best-fitting solutions for international issues while demonstrating good public speaking, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Accepted participants will undergo training with The Council staff. They will be trained on negotiation skills. public speaking, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, and the technicalities of the conference.
