The Council Leadership Academy Inaugurates the Auditorium with Leadership Opportunities

On Tuesday October 15, 2019, The Council Leadership Academy, a Lebanon and U.S-based leadership and training company, had the honor to inaugurate the auditorium of Innova International English School with a discussion on leadership development and the different leadership opportunities it is aiming to launch in Kuwait. The event was attended by heads of schools, universities, and corporations, as well as many other important figures in Kuwait and the Arab region.

Mr. Jihad Yaacoub, C.E.O and founder of The Council and a certified John C. Maxwell coach and trainer was invited as a keynote speaker in this leadership development event. Mr. Yaacoub commenced the talk with the definition of leadership and John C. Maxwell’s Five Levels of Leadership. He explained how position, permission, production and people development shape every individual’s leadership journey towards reaching the pinnacle.

Mr. Yaacoub then proceeded with announcing all leadership opportunities and programs The Council is working on launching in Kuwait. With the aim of developing student leaders, The Council offers a variation of life skills training, counseling, international Model United Nations conferences, exchange programs, and international leadership summits. Through its affiliation and exclusive agreements with top universities worldwide such as Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Yale, UCLA and others, The Council is able to provide students with unique programs guaranteed to give students an upper-hand in their university applications and careers. In addition, with a view to promote the concept of never-ending self-development and learning, The Council offers teacher training and corporate training for professionals on themes that relate to their area of expertise and to the growing needs of the community.

The event was concluded with a Q&A session mostly targeting counseling, life skills, and professional training. All guests were then invited to a buffet in which they had the chance to celebrate this important milestone for Kuwaiti institutions.
